We decided to spend our welcoming of Spring into the year, at Fossil Creek . The water was still a little cold from winter, but the flowers were in bloom and we were lucky enough to have overcast skies and a light rain on our hike up the Flume Trail from Irving TrailHead. It was about a 3.5 hour hike with tons of switchbacks and beautiful birds-eye views of the creek below. The rain made the dirt smell real camping :) We meet Richard Foye and his beautiful lady friend on the trail as well! They were visiting from VT and and were the nicest people we could have come across. Their energy brought nature to life. Such beautiful people :)
