Paper Mache Clay Recipe:
- Toilet Paper (measure the wet paper pulp, and use 1.24 cups – some rolls contain more paper than needed)
- 1 cup Joint compound from the hardware store (get “regular,” not “fast set” or “light”.)
- 3/4 cup Elmer’s Glue-all
- 1/2 cup White Flour
- 2 tablespoons Linseed Oil
- a mixer
-Pull all Toilet Paper off roll and put the paper into a bowl with warm water
-Ring out the t.p. and add it to Blender
-Before turning the blender on, add the Flour, Linseed Oil, and Glue with the t.p.
-Mix on Low for 5min. ( longer time and additional linseed oil might be needed to break down the fibers better, should form an almost claylike constancy)
** Keep it in an air tight container to stay moist. Or leave out to dry overnight

.p.s. its smells strangely pleasant :) it is more easy to sculpt with then paper mache, doesnt result in a completely smooth surface but the hardened texture is kinda neat. easy to paint on, easy to add on, cheap and pretty sweet
